Grace joined the board in 2025. She is a qualified teacher, a māmā, an avid op-shopper, and a strong advocate for change and equity. With a background in education, Grace specialises in language acquisition and cultural facilitation. She has worked across both public and private sectors as a consultant in te reo and tikanga Māori, and is deeply committed to the preservation of Māori language and culture.

Grace brings governance experience from a range of roles, including whānau trusts, student associations, and the Māori Women’s Welfare League. Through these commitments, she understands the critical role those in positions of power and privilege play in rebalancing systems.

She believes Seed the Change | He Kākano Hāpai is a powerful platform that brings together ground-breakers and change-makers to drive real, meaningful transformation—and she hopes to pass these values on to the next generation including her daughter.
